Private Medical Insurance?

Dr Anthony Isaacs is a private rheumatologist recognised by private health insurance providers including Bupa, AXA PPP, VitalityHealth, Aviva, Healix and WPA. Please check with your individual insurer as to your coverage. No appointment fees will be charged if your insurance covers the consultation and care provided.

Self funding?

Initial consultation appointment cost : £250

Follow up appointment cost: £150

Steroid/Cortisone injections:  *£50 per injection ( NB: This does not include an additional £90-£100 charged by the hospital (fee range as variable between hospitals - further details available on request)

Referral

A referral letter is useful but not essential 

*please note injection fees relate to the cost Dr Isaacs charges for performing injections himself. Injections that need to be performed by other specialists,  such as in radiology under image guidance for instance, are charged by the hospital and will not be the same cost - the hospital self pay team can quote patients for the cost in these cases.
